How to Disable Automatic Updates in Windows 10 Home

Now that Windows 10 is officially released, many users are not too happy with the mandatory windows updates that Microsoft has implemented.  Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise users can choose to defer the installation of updates, but they cannot be completely disabled.  There is a work around to this however, that doesn't require you to install additional software or do registry edits. By disabling the update service itself in Windows you can permanently disable Windows 10 from downloading updates.
